Meet Beth (and Lexi 🐾)

There’s Wonder Around the Bend is the natural extension of Beth’s initial travel blog, Just Being Bing, which she began in 2018 on her initial solo road trip.  A passionate traveler, she and her golden retriever, Lexi, have road tripped 60,000 miles and through 46 states to date.

Beth’s passions have always revolved around teaching, writing, and traveling.  In her 30 years as an educator, she taught every grade but kindergarten in public and private schools and homeschooled her own children for eight years.

Forever known as Bing to friends and Mom to two treasured adult children (and son-in-law!), she makes her home in a Civil War era farmhouse just up the road from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
