1. Always Have a Backup Plan

When traveling solo, preparation is your superpower. Creating backup plans helps you stay calm and confident, no matter what the road throws your way.

Here’s how to get started:

• Print out essential documents, including reservations, emergency contact numbers, health information, and banking details.
• Carry printed maps in case your GPS fails.
• Consider alternate routes and have a plan for emergencies like losing your phone or keys.

• Stash an extra car key and emergency cash in a hidden but accessible spot.
• Make digital and physical backups of important documents.
